we believe that the beginning of a child's educational journey is a sacred and beautiful milestone. To mark this auspicious step, our campus hosted the traditional Vidyaarambh Ceremony (literally meaning "The Commencement of Knowledge").

Surrounded by the gentle fragrance of fresh flowers, the lighting of the traditional lamp, and chanting of peaceful hymns, our newest and youngest learners took their very first steps into the formal world of reading, writing, and creative discovery.

The Significant Importance of Vidyaarambh for Little Learners

While Vidyaarambh is deeply rooted in heritage, its psychological impact on a young child’s mind is incredibly profound. For a small child, transitioning from home to school can sometimes feel overwhelming. Here is why this ceremony is so essential to their development:

Our pre-primary and kindergarten sections transformed into a vibrant, high-energy sea of red as SRVS SCHOOL SIKANDERPUR celebrated our annual Red Day! From cherry-red outfits and rosy cheeks to classrooms adorned with crimson balloons, apples, and strawberries, the campus was buzzing with pure excitement.Red Day is far more than just a fun dress-up event—it is a carefully structured sensory milestone designed to kick start our early-years conceptual learning curriculum.

Visual Anchoring & Color Recognition: Red is the most visually stimulating color in the human spectrum. Dedicating a full day to it helps young children anchor the concept in their minds, moving them seamlessly from unidentifiable shapes to clear color differentiation. Cognitive Association: By linking the color to real-world objects—like sorting red blocks, painting paper apples, or talking about fire engines—kids build strong cognitive neural paths, matching names to physical traits. Fine Motor Skill Mastery: Our Red Day activities include tearing red paper, finger-painting with crimson hues, and sorting red beads.
